The remote MySQL allows you to connect web applications that are not hosted by Obambu remotely :
You can now enter the IP of the Obambu server where you are hosted (you can check this FAQ article to know it) instead of localhost on your remote apps.
- Go to your cPanel
- Click on Remote MySQL
- If you know the IP of the web app that is going to connect to the databse, enter it and click Add Host
- If you don't know the ip of the remote web app, enter the percent sign (%) and click Add Host
