Use the remote MySQL

The remote MySQL allows you to connect web applications that are not hosted by Obambu remotely :

  • Go to your cPanel
  • Click on Remote MySQL
    • If you know the IP of the web app that is going to connect to the databse, enter it and click Add Host
    • If you don't know the ip of the remote web app, enter the percent sign (%) and click Add Host

You can now enter the IP of the Obambu server where you are hosted (you can check this FAQ article to know it) instead of localhost on your remote apps.
